Abstract

Accidents in swimming pools and/or aquatic centers are usually caused by children entering the water without the prior supervision of a responsible adult, inexperienced swimmers, people in a state of intoxication, or even pets that fall into the water due to carelessness; when the facility is not open and not supervised by security personnel, this problem occurs with greater intensity; At a preventive level, an alarm device is used that is activated by means of an accelerometer that reacts to the change in the force of movement of a wave generated by the fall of a body in the water, activating its functionality by emitting an audible alarm, mobile notification and data collection on the continuity of the event, in order to focus attention on frequent events, reduce risks and accidents in places with pools or water storage tanks, reduce fatal events and improve the quality of safety in the places where it is used.
